  1. The Railwayman’s Arms

This pub is right on Platform One of the Severn Valley Railway, a heritage railway in Worcestershire. It has been in existence since 1861 when it was opened as a refreshment room a year before the railway itself was opened. The pub has character and is a great place to experience the atmosphere of a steam railway with all the railway memorabilia featured in it. The Railwayman’s Arms serves a variety of pub snacks and with its ten hand pumps, it serves real local and national ales out of eight of them, and cider and perry out of the remaining two. It is open from 11.30am – 16.00pm and 18.00pm – 23.00pm Monday – Thursday, 11.30am – 23.00pm Friday & Saturday, and 12:00pm – 22.30pm on Sunday. The pub is closed when there is no train service.

St. George’s Bar is located right at the heart of the Stanbrook Abbey and is the “theatre behind a good tipple”. If you are looking for a place that is sophisticated yet laid back, then you want to visit St. George’s Bar. At the bar, you can hang out with friends or colleagues and enjoy your afternoon tea or your favourite tipple. Asides drinks, the bar has a rich menu serving regular and specialty sandwiches, a variety of main plates and sides, salads, and sweet treats. St. George’s bar is at Stanbrook Abbey, Jennet Tree Lane, Callow End, Worcester WR2 4TY and it is open at all times to everyone except during Exclusive Use events at the hotels when it is closed to non-residents.

This is a spacious and friendly bar with a very rich and robust menu sporting a great garden and outdoor eating areas. It also has play areas for children; hence you can go with your family. Asides food and drinks, The Honey Bee has two fishing lakes stocked with carp which are open to the public for fishing. The Malvern Bar is one of the two well-stocked and equipped bars at the Malvern Theatres with the other being the Circle Bar. The King & Castle is another pub on the Severn Valley Railway, and is located on 1, Comberton Place, Kidderminster, DY10 1QR. It is a recreation of an Edwardian refreshment room on the Great Western Railway terminus station gateway to the SVR. This pub is very popular with Worcestershire locals and they serve a range of cask ales and hearty meals. Its eight hand pumps dispense four regular and four changing beers. The bar is open from 11:00am – 23:00pm Monday –Thursday, 11:00am -23.30pm Friday and Saturday and 11:00am – 23:00pm on Sunday.
